Abdurrahman Jami is a scholar who produced significant works of Islamic mysticism. His works hold an important place in the field of Sufism. Lawā’iḥ addresses the practical and theoretical issues of Sufism in a concise manner. Jami’s works have had a great impact on Ottoman literary and Sufi life. Tarjamat al-Lawā’iḥ was written in Istanbul and has brought Jami’s works to the present day.
