During the era of the former Yugoslavia, some scholars trained in Ottoman madrasas worked at the Macedonian State Archives or the Institute of National History. It is known that Kemal Aruçi and Fettah Efendi published joint articles in these institutions. The book has been prepared based on six Ottoman chronicles and two historical works. An Introduction section has been added to the study, along with the Turkish translation of an obituary written by Aleksandar Matkovski after Kemal Aruçi's passing. This book aims to contribute to research on North Macedonia and Balkan history, the remembrance of historical relations between Turkey and North Macedonia, the re-examination of the works of Ottoman scholars, and the enrichment of the historical memory of the Muslim/Turkish community in the Balkans.
