Throughout every stage of this work, we have utilized reputable books of tafsir. We have taken care not to express any point that we could not find in these sources, even within parentheses.

In matters of creed (i'tiqad), we took care to highlight the views of Ahl al-Sunnah and, regarding the priority among these opinions, we chose to prefer the opinion we found more transcendent in the same context. Brief explanations of some verses that are difficult to understand or prone to misinterpretation were compiled from the original copies of the commentaries and included in the footnotes, with the sources of each indicated.

The meanings of certain terms were summarized by utilizing both commentaries and scholarly works. Likewise, short explanations of some verses related to abrogation (nasikh and mansukh) and jurisprudence (fiqh) and transactions (muamalat) were cited from sources as needed.

While providing explanations for words, we endeavored to convey the meanings they carry within the text rather than just their abstract meanings.

This work, which lasted nearly ten years under the supervision of the Scientific Research Center within our publishing house, was carried out by a committee of ten people who are graduates of various Faculty of Theology and Eastern madrasas in the country, as well as religious universities and madrasas such as Al-Azhar University abroad.

This final text, prepared as a committee based on consultation, was lastly edited over a period of nearly a year with the serious examination, participation, and benefit from the opinions of a quite large committee of men and women who possess very different professions and specializations such as theology, literature, history, psychology, pedagogy, education, engineering, technical education, medicine, economics, law, political science, and fine arts.
