My brother! Allah commanded Prophet Moses, "Make your homes a qibla and establish prayer." Prophet Moses prepared his community to cross the Red Sea through the prayers and supplications performed in these homes. The cadres who will create seas, establish Medina, and conquer Mecca will not descend from the heavens; Muslims will be raised in their own homes. Therefore, your mind and soul should not focus on the color of the furniture or the style of the curtains at home, but on how closely your prayer and jihad program resembles the house of Arqam ibn Abi al-Arqam.

Sins are a veil between Allah and the servant. Just as curtains block the view, sins block communication with Allah. There is no veil between Allah and those servants who guard their eyes, tongues, ears, and hands from the forbidden. When they say "Allahu Akbar," they enter the world of prayer just as they would enter Paradise. Just as they perform physical ablution with water, they also perform spiritual ablution by staying away from sins. Your work, spouse, occupations, children returning home in the evening, or what may happen one day may be important. However, you must be bound to your cause with love. If it is migration, then migrate; if it is exile, then be exiled... Do not fear what will befall you! Do not find "excuses" when you are called to convey the message. Do not withdraw into an ivory tower; do not live apart from the people! Be with the people in appearance, but be with Allah in reality. Do not be heedless of your Lord. Look at the mountains and stones with a perspective that always observes the power of Allah. It is easy to talk about remaining standing when the Prophet was stoned, or about getting back up each time. What matters is being able to remain standing when the same situation happens to you. After doing what you must do in the realm of causality, trust in your Lord and do not lose hope, even if you are thrown into the fire like Prophet Abraham!
