The verses mentioned most frequently with definitive rulings in the Holy Quran are the inheritance
verses, and it is a fard al-ayn (individual obligation) for every inheritor to act in accordance with these rulings.
Due to the lack of complete knowledge and sufficient conveyance of inheritance law in Islam,
we have witnessed many of our people entering into the haram (forbidden), whether knowingly or unknowingly.
Inherited property obtained without adhering to the measures set for us by Allah Almighty is not halal (lawful).
This illicit inherited property brings many troubles in this world and the hereafter.
In this study, which we have begun with the intention of acting upon the hadith of our Prophet (pbuh),
"Learn this knowledge and teach it to people," our hope is that scholars of knowledge will strive in this field
and convey these laws set by Allah to our Muslim people, thereby serving as a means for generations to live within the sphere of the halal.
