The most authentic and detailed book written as a refutation of the false beliefs and slanders of the Shi'a sects, the Rawafid, the Kharijites, and the People of Innovation concerning the Noble Companions, the Household (Ahl al-Bayt), and the Imams of the Household of the Messenger of Allah “Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam” is the book “as-Sawa'iq al-Muhriqa fi'r-Raddi 'ala Ahl al-Bida' wa'z-Zandaqa.” The author of the book, the “Sharp Sword of the Ahl al-Sunnah wa'l-Jama'ah School,” Shafi'i-Ash'ari, Junaydi-Shadhili-Bakri, Mujtahid Allamah Ibn Hajar al-Haytami “Rahmatullahi Alayh” [1503-1567], was spoken of with high praise by Imam Rabbani and Mawlana Khalid al-Baghdadi “Quddisa Sirruhuma” from the “Silsila-i Aliyya Masters,” and they made many narrations from his works, including this book. The “Last Golden Link of the Silsila-i Aliyya,” Naqshbandi-Mujaddidi-Khalidi, Qadiri, Suhrawardi, Chishti, Kubrawi, Uwaysi Sheikh Sayyid Abdulhakim al-Arwasi “Quddisa Sirruh” praised Allamah Haytami as “the deepest scholar of the Islamic world, an ocean of knowledge, the allama of humanity, Ahmad al-Haytami Shihabuddin Ibn Hajar, after the Great Imams Abu Hanifa, Shafi'i, Malik, and Hanbal.” The book “as-Sawa'iq al-Muhriqa” declares with Authentic Hadith the signs and emergence of the Mahdi “Alayhirrahma,” the emergence of the Dajjal, and the descent of Jesus son of Mary “Alayhimassalatu Wassalam” from the sky, as also reported in the treatise “al-Qawl al-Mukhtasar fi 'Alamat al-Mahdiyi'l-Muntazar,” most of which we have separately translated in this book of ours. The book “as-Sawa'iq al-Muhriqa” was translated into Ottoman Turkish by the Hanafi-Maturidi, Naqshbandi-Mujaddidi, Malami, Qadiri, Shadhili Sheikh Allamah Muhammad Amin al-Tukadi “Quddisa Sirruh” [1665-1745], who is buried in Zeyrek, Istanbul.
