This book is not so much about prayer as it is about "how to pray." In other words, it is about the consciousness of approaching prayer before the act itself. We did not attempt to collect as many prayers as possible, nor did we try to find the most important ones (though there is no such thing as an unimportant prayer). We tried to point out the quality of turning towards prayer and to explain the 'why' and 'how' of praying. Just as it is impossible to gain benefit from an important prayer with a trivial faith, it is possible to gain benefit from any prayer (provided it is legitimate) with an important (meaning quality-oriented) faith. This is what we focus on.
