Where are the roots we have forgotten and wish to find? In this materializing world, will we be able to return to that source where our personalities were formed? Before the mill of the world grinds us down, will we be able to remember the purpose of this journey? *Bir Değirmendir Bu Dünya* (This World Is a Mill) is a universe of associations constructed by Cahit Zarifoğlu with his keen intellect and subtle talents. Skillfully bringing together his knowledge and thoughts, Zarifoğlu, who looks at the meaning behind events and objects with an admirable power of reasoning and imagination, invites his readers on a journey in pursuit of rich dreams. I feel as if I have explained everything that happens within me, my labyrinth full of wolf traps, my dark cloud, my sun that I wait to see emerge from its tresses, and my own mill in great detail. Perhaps, while you are wandering astray in the dead ends of your own labyrinth, we might come face to face. We might even join forces to greet each other, embrace, share our experiences, and find the exit together to bring the labyrinth down upon its creator. From now on, what do you say?
