With peace and greetings…
Humanity is perhaps going through the most troubled period in history. Modern man, seeking satisfaction in the material, increasingly resorts to more perverse paths out of the ambition born of his inability to satiate his soul. This situation in the world is, naturally, also true for our own country.
Moreover, in our country, as if a Westernist regime that has forced people to live in a swamp for exactly 100 years were not already in power, a remnant of the Byzantine era emerges, chanting "Down with Sharia!" slogans and revealing their own stupidity and lack of thought. While their only concern is to be a lackey to the West and to show hostility toward Islam, it is again the Sharia that will show them the fair treatment they "deserve."
For everyone, the path to establishing a system where human beings can live humanely lies in the urgent establishment of a system that takes its light from the "Absolute Idea Beyond the Ages."
In this context, while putting "Sharia" as our headline on the cover, we say "for a life worth living."
We are with you this month again with a content full to the brim:
İbrahim Tatlı, in his article titled "Why are you still running from Sharia?", addresses those who shudder with fear and hatred at the mention of Sharia, and those who use it as a tool for their own crude lusts while appearing to defend it.
Ömer Emre Akcebe, in his article "The Shadow of the Absolute Revolution," states that the world is moving step by step toward what is destined, and prays: "May God make us among those servants who serve as the means for the arrow of time, which has been drawn since 1400 Hijri, to be released from its bow, and may He not let us stray from the path!"
We talked to Melikşah Sezen, who has produced very important works on Maturidism, about the Westernist regime in Turkey, especially its view of Islam during the founding phase, within the framework of his latest book, "Kemalism and Maturidism."
Kâzım Albay is in our magazine with his comprehensive article on "Salafism," a school of thought opposed to tradition and sects.
Faruk Hanedar is in our magazine with his article titled "I only want one thing: sincerity."
We talked to psychologist Muharrem Aksan about the state of contemporary man, who complains about everything yet is unwilling to approach a solution.
Bahattin Yeşiloğlu, in his article titled "The Middle East," discusses how important the region in question has been throughout history.
We conducted an interview on cinema with film director Murat Pay. We believe you will read this interview with great interest.
Asaf Enes Düzenli, in his article "An Important Work by an Ottoman Intellectual who Practiced his Knowledge," examines "Nakdü’l kelâm fî akâidi’l-İslâm," a work by the Cretan Sırrı Pasha, which has been translated into modern Turkish with extensive explanations by Kâzım Albayrak.
Hasan Hüseyin Akdağ is in our magazine with his article titled "A Masterpiece of Mimar Sinan: The Technical Mysteries of the Süleymaniye Mosque."
M. Taha İnci continues his series of articles titled "The Ottoman Empire in the 19th Century."
Oğuz Can Şahin talks about "Balzac's journalistic years."
Abdulkerim Kiracı examines the concept of alienation in Marx in his piece "Karl Marx's Alienation."
