Menâkıb-ı Eşrefzâde is a work written by Abdullah Veliyyüddîn Bursevî that contains the life of Eşrefoğlu Rûmî, who is accepted as the second master (pîr) of the Qadiriyya order, and the hagiographies of the elders of the order.
The work recounts Eşrefoğlu Rûmî's entry into the Sufi path, his completion of his spiritual journey (seyr ü sülûk) alongside his first mentor Hacı Bayrâm-ı Velî, and his appointment to provide spiritual guidance (irshad). Furthermore, his commencement of spiritual guidance with the authorization he received from Hüseyn-i Hamavî and the periods he spent with his deputies are also discussed in detail.
Menâkıb-ı Eşrefzâde contains important information regarding the life of Eşrefoğlu Rûmî and the history of the Eşrefiyye branch of the Qadiriyya. The work also holds special significance due to the author's close relationship with the Eşrefoğlu family.
