Ihya-u Ulum’id-din, the greatest work of Imam al-Ghazali, has been the primary reference source for Muslims in every era, and great trust has been placed in this work.
Each of the topics within Ihya-u Ulum’id-din has been translated using a fluent and clear language without ever compromising the original narrative of the work, and each has been turned into a book in its own right.
The seventh book in the third volume of Ihya-u Ulum’id-din is The Virtue of Generosity and Stinginess.
In this book, we can summarize that wealth has dangerous and harmful aspects as well as beneficial ones. While salvation can be found by fulfilling its beneficial and useful aspects, its evil also brings disaster and danger to a person. Moreover, it is not very easy to distinguish the good from the bad, or the beneficial from the harmful. Therefore, it is truly very important to address and explain this subject point by point.
