"Thermo" means heat. The term "thermo synthetic leather" refers to the synthetic leather material changing color and taking shape when exposed to heat. In a printing process performed by applying heat with a cliché, thermo synthetic leather darkens in color and takes the shape of the design. Because parts of the motif on the cliché are exposed to heat, they darken, while the elements of the pattern remain light-colored, ensuring that the motif is clearly visible.
