Muhammad Tahir al-Karakhi's chronicle of Imam Shamil's ghazawat provides us with the history of the resistance movement in the Caucasus. This work details the periods starting from Sheikh Mansur and continuing through Ghazi Muhammad, Hamza, and Shamil. This resistance movement, which represents a significant turning point in Caucasian history, is examined in detail from the perspective of Muslims.
