All 9 of the invaluable works by the Imam al-A'zam, the pearl of Ahl al-Sunnah, are presented to readers in this study along with their original Arabic texts. In these 9 works, you will find Imam al-A'zam Abu Hanifa’s struggle for creed, his role as a shield against deviant ideas, and the vital advice and counsel he gave to students, scholars, and administrators; 1- Fiqh al-Akbar: It means "the great jurisprudence." He gave it this name because it concerns the Ahl al-Sunnah creed. For as he himself said, a small amount of action performed with correct belief is more beneficial than a great deal of action performed with incorrect belief. This Fiqh al-Akbar has been read and taught as a textbook on creed since the very early days. 2- Al-Alim wa al-Muta'allim: A long treatise on creed written in a question-and-answer format for the purpose of explaining and defending the views of Ahl al-Sunnah. 3- Al-Fiqh al-Absat: In this work, where Imam al-A'zam answers the questions of his student Abu'l-Muti' al-Balkhi, there are many subjects such as faith, destiny, the will of Allah (mashia), and sections regarding those who declare others infidels due to sin. 4- Risala to Uthman al-Batti: In this work written to his student, who served as a judge in Basra and was a very great scholar and mujtahid, Abu Hanifa gives sincere and very useful vital information on matters of creed and administration, in addition to his answers to the slander of Murji'ism leveled against him. 5- Testament of Tawhid: As it is not known to whom it was addressed, it is written for all of us and contains creedal information. 6- Testament to Yusuf bin Khalid al-Samti: Abu Hanifa's testament to his student and close, sincere friend Yusuf bin Khalid al-Samti. This testament contains vital advice. Al-Samti states that by applying these, the course of his life changed and became very productive. The Hanafi scholar Zarnuji also stated in his famous work that those who wish to acquire knowledge, as well as every professor and mufti, should definitely keep this testament with them. 7- Testament to Abu Yusuf: The testament written by Abu Hanifa to his chief student and the second scholar of the Hanafi school, Abu Yusuf. This is his most important testament. The information within it is vital advice needed by everyone, as well as those of learning. 8- Testament to his son Hammad: Abu Hanifa had only one child, his son Hammad. Abu Hanifa wrote testaments for his students who drew his attention. This is one of those testaments written to his son, who was both his student and his son. Like his other testaments, this one also contains advice that we can make a principle for our lives. 9- Qasida al-Nu'maniyya: The poignant (heart-wrenching) 53-couplet qasida written by the Imam al-A'zam about our Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace... It was annotated by al-Sayyid al-Hajj Ibrahim Khalil b. Yahya as the product of an extensive and meticulous study titled Surur al-Qulub. In addition, the interlinear poetic translation by Ibrahim b. Mehmed al-Yalvaji has been included in this study.
