Al-Munqidh min al-Dalal is a work in which Imam al-Ghazali narrates his own intellectual and spiritual journey. In addition to being a rare autobiography, it contains an evaluation of the religious and intellectual movements of the 5th/11th-century Islamic world. Al-Munqidh has been translated and published in various languages, primarily in Turkish. In this study, a full translation has been made and verified by utilizing the oldest manuscript preserved in the Süleymaniye Library.
