A human being is a creature that continues its worldly life with a mentality influenced by the environment it inhabits and the language it is born into. This influence determines the power of imagination. While the language one is born into affects the activity of thinking, it also determines the shape of the pictures painted with words. Let it not be thought that we are drawing boundaries to imagination. A person's imagination is limitless, and this imagination forms their identity. People in different environments conceive different dreams. We were born into the Turkish language; we express our thoughts and our works in Turkish. While Turkish shapes our imagination, it also strengthens our ties to our language.
