Our people, oppressed for their faith, were economically exploited, their labor stolen, and their pockets emptied by the bourgeoisie spawned by the regime. While those who transferred the country's gains to the West lived in luxury on the crumbs left by their masters, the Muslim Anatolian people were condemned to misery. The AK Party, which the Anatolian people brought to power as a result of their reaction to the Kemalist regime, was aware of this situation but avoided touching the oligarchic clique that looked to fill its coffers by constantly creating crises; furthermore, it did not stop there, but made the new capital holders it moved to the center their partners as well. While a false environment of prosperity was created in the national economy through the inflow of foreign capital during the period when the AK Party was progressing in harmony with the West and Turkey was being shown as a role model to the Islamic world, economic conditions in Turkey, where consuming without producing had become a habit, began to return to "normal" after the foreign capital began to withdraw following the process that started with the Gezi Park protests. Especially with the pandemic causing the global economic system to crack at its roots, its effect was felt heavily in Turkey, and the devaluation process of the currency, which is the indicator of the economy's value, in the last year has played into the hands of those who eye the meager earnings of the people. The extreme fluctuation that emerged as a result of the government's policy of lowering interest rates and raising the exchange rate—designed to encourage foreign investors to invest in our country rather than earn money from interest, and thereby reduce imports and increase exports—hit the people once again. Due to the volatility in the exchange rate, especially this week, a few trillion liras in value flowed into the pockets of the actors in this exchange rate game. Whose money was this? Of course, the money of the Muslim Anatolian people! Attributing this situation the people have fallen into solely to the operations of "foreign powers" causes a weakness in diagnosing the disease and, consequently, in its treatment. It also blocks the way for taking the necessary measures and taking revolutionary steps. As in every issue, what this warns us is that the solution lies in putting forward a new model of human and society based on Islamic morality, instead of the material-centered understanding that capitalist-modernist thought has established by bastardizing minds, and in institutionalizing and nationalizing it within this framework. However, this can only be done by adhering to the principles where the order proclaimed by Islam is in harmony with one's own "good" and does not conflict with one's own "evil" regarding Islam's "evil." For the Islamic order is designed not just by comparing man with existence or Islam with the individual, but by encompassing both forms.
