Lemaât is one of the important texts of the Akbariyya school of gnosis, which is attributed to Muhyiddin Ibn al-Arabi and shaped around the concept of the "unity of existence." This school has created a significant body of literature, especially through works such as commentaries, glosses, and introductory books written on the Sheikh's Fusus al-Hikam. Fakhr al-Din Iraqi, one of the most important representatives of the Akbariyya, opened a new door of interpretation with a different approach to the Fusus as a follower of Qunawi. While his master and peers wrote Fusus commentaries in a more scholarly and philosophical style, he adopted a literary style. Mahmud Erol Kilic explains the environment in which Iraqi wrote Lemaât and its relationship with Fusus al-Hikam as follows: “It is narrated that Fakhr al-Din Iraqi, who attended Qunawi’s Fusus lessons, would withdraw to his room for meditation after each lesson and recite some verses he called “lam‘a.” When the lessons ended, Iraqi divided all the verses he had recited into twenty-seven chapters, matching the number of chapters in the Fusus, and thus his famous work, Lemaât, was born. Because of this interesting proximity, it is said that Lemaât is, in a way, a poetic commentary on the Fusus.” In Lemaât, he clothed the main concepts and understanding of existence of the Fusus in the language of love of Ibn al-Farid. In his work, Iraqi explains the absolute existence that is transcendent of manifestation, the level of synthesis that appears with His love to be known and His inclination to be known, and the relationship of manifestation and union between beings, through the concepts of love, the beloved, and the lover. Saffet Yetkin, one of the important Sufis, scholars, and intellectuals of the last century, translated Lemaât, one of the source works of the Akbari school he was also associated with, into our language under the title Parıltılar (Glimmers). By writing introductions to the beginning of this important and profound work of Sufi gnosis and adding notes in the nature of glosses to his translation, he has left us a work that facilitates its understanding. And the work calls out to us as follows
