Sufism has long been met with envy and subjected to criticism. However, this community has conducted its affairs in accordance with the pleasure of Allah and has not focused its attention on these criticisms. They have chosen peace and continued on their path. Yet, it has been observed that in their criticism, some have occasionally adopted an approach that borders on slander. We hope that Muslims will think fairly on this matter and lay the groundwork for brotherhood. For this reason, we decided to undertake this study to ensure that criticisms are fair. We wished to remind Muslims that they should move away from the mindset that only what they know and say is true while others are wrong, and instead accept that others may also have truths and that they themselves may be mistaken. We have attempted to explain important topics related to Sufism as much as possible. In these explanations, our criteria have naturally been the Book and the Sunnah. We are strictly against the deviation of rejecting the Sunnah. We emphasize that opposition to the Sunnah harms the faith. We believe that this quiet community, whose rights have been infringed upon, is the group foretold by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Prophet Muhammad said: "A group from my Ummah will continue to be on the truth until the Day of Judgment. Those who oppose them will not be able to harm them." (Bukhari, I'tisam: 10, Manaqib: 28; Muslim, Iman: 247, Imara: 170, 171, 173, 175). Indeed, despite centuries of opposition, this group has continued on its path effectively and humbly, and the opposition has not harmed them. If you were to ask impartial people, everyone would say that it is this quiet community that lives the Sunnah. In other words, it would be stated that they are the subjects of the aforementioned hadith. The reason for the opposition to this community is jealousy, similar to the hadith which states that what people rectify is considered strange. Since this group will engage in the work of rectification by actively living the Prophetic Sunnah, it will be subjected to criticism and become a 'stranger' (Gharib) (Muslim, Iman: 232; Tirmidhi, Iman: 13; Ibn Majah, Fitan: 15). This modest booklet has undoubtedly been prepared with the sole purpose of attaining the pleasure of Allah. Through this booklet, gaining the satisfaction of our humble, righteous people whose rights have been violated would be a great source of happiness for me. Gaining the satisfaction of Prophet Muhammad, which we desire, would be more valuable than all the worlds. We consider serving a moderate Ummah to be one of the greatest forms of happiness. For the sake of Prophet Muhammad, we consider it exceptionally valuable to be dedicated to this Ummah. This Ummah has been entrusted with the duty of being witnesses to all of humanity (Baqarah: 143). This is an extremely valuable and responsible task. We long for the time when the Ummah fulfills its duty of being witnesses to all of humanity. The booklet may not be the final or most perfect work on this subject. It will be perfected with the contributions of the Ummah. I thank M. Emin Er Hodja for his contribution of two hadiths pointing to matters such as Rabita and the remembrance of Allah. We hope that this booklet will, at the very least, be a continuous charity (sadaqah jariyah) in its field. Our success is only by Him (Hud: 88).
