The script used by the Turks after their conversion to Islam, written with Quranic letters, has been largely forgotten as it was not used for a long time, and familiarity with this script has partially faded. Our Turkish language, predominantly referred to as Ottoman Turkish due to its use during the Ottoman period, has reached a point today where efforts are being made to learn it, and it is at least being offered as an elective course in schools.
This gratifying situation also necessitates the existence of workbooks for learning it. This study in your hands has been prepared both to serve as a means to learn Ottoman Turkish easily and to demonstrate through its exercises just how easy it is to learn. In fact, the greatest difficulty in learning it is the misconception that "learning Ottoman Turkish is difficult!"
