We wanted to compile our "Inscription Readings" section, which we have been publishing in the Ottoman Turkish Education and Culture Magazine since 2013 and for which we have received significant positive feedback, into a more organized format. We aim to provide both encouragement and guidance for reading the inscriptions we pass by every day.

We hope that through this work, we will reach the cultural accumulation around us. This connection will lead us to reach our heritage, as well as our historical and cultural codes. A nation that meets with its roots—that is, its history and civilization—will surely find a strong foundation upon which to build its future.

We hope this work proves beneficial and look forward to meeting again in many other works that foster awareness.
