Everything in the celestial books is present in the Quran. Everything in the Quran is in the Fatiha. Everything in the Fatiha is in the Basmala. And everything in the Basmala is found in the dot under the letter 'b'." Upon these words, Hz. Ali, unable to suppress his inner excitement, called out, "I am the dot under the 'b'!" Seeing that what he intended to explain was understood, our Prophet smiled with satisfaction. Thus, our Prophet's words were completed and united with this final statement of Hz. Ali. This hadith has sometimes been attributed to our Prophet and sometimes to Hz. Ali.

Muhammed Nûrû’l-Arabî's work titled "Noktatü’l Beyan" explains the meaning of the drop like the sea, the speck like the sun, and the tree within the seed, all gathered around the sacred words of our Prophet. Through it, physics opens up to metaphysics, and metaphysics, in turn, shows its manifestations in physics. Amidst a seemingly dizzying diversity, it proclaims Tawhid and constantly points toward it. The dot is a door that opens to infinity, to the source of wisdom, and to the place where words end. The dot is the primary element and the driving force of an entire cultural universe. The essence of the word is the letter, and the essence of the letter is the dot. And the dot is the truth of the heart of man. For this reason, anyone who understands the dot will find within themselves the secret of the Basmala, the Fatiha, the Quran, and all celestial books.
