As far as we know, the first person to write the biographies (sīrahs) of the imāms independently according to scholarly principles is Muhammad Zāhid al-Kawtharī. The late Kawtharī wrote the biographies of Imām Abū Yūsuf, Imām Muhammad b. Hasan, Imām Zufar b. Huzayl, Imām Muhammad b. Shujā‘ al-Saljī, Imām Hasan b. Ziyād al-Lu’lu’ī, Imām Tahāwī, and Badr al-Dīn al-‘Aynī (may Allah be pleased with them all) as independent works. These books should not be considered merely as biographical works; in all of them, Kawtharī addressed many historical and contemporary issues, ranging from the Ahl al-Sunnah creed to matters of legal theory (usūl al-fiqh).\"\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Tahkik Yayınları","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":45317998706930,"sku":null,"price":150.0,"currency_code":"TRY","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0673\/5088\/8690\/products\/imam-ebu-cafer-et-tahavi.jpg?v=1709674407","url":"https:\/\/koklerkitab.com\/en-int\/products\/imam-ebu-ca-fer-et-tahavi-hayati-ve-eserleri-muhammed-zahid-el-kevseri","provider":"Kökler Kitab","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
