This work is the first volume of the articles penned by Necip Fazıl, who stated, "Daily political sloganeering is as unworthy of the sublime activity of an artist as it is not my business!", under the heading "Accounting of Events" and using the signature (Be-De), reflecting his duty to sense and perceive social and political developments.

In the first book of this series, an accounting of the events between the years 1943-1949, which should be read with careful consideration, is presented.
