In one of his discourses, Shams Tabrizi stated that God asks for three things from people: obedience, acceptable deeds, and remembrance. While obedience signifies faith, acceptable deeds represent worship, and remembrance is a sign of gnosis (marifah). Based on these words, it is emphasized that instead of placing their burdens on others, people should serve them and share their own wealth. It is noted that gnosis is the heart becoming one with God, which signifies a person attaining spiritual depth.
