The knowledge of being is in books, but it cannot be grasped without communing with one who truly is. They have said that a state of being is contagious. Whatever your trouble may be, be with those who possess it so that you may find a remedy. If you wish to be a bandit, do not waste your life at the threshold of a saint; if you are burdened with the quest for sainthood, do not commit banditry against your own heart! A person is said to share the destiny of their beloved; love your companion in suffering so deeply that the remedy itself feels ashamed not to be yours!
