In matters of belief, we took care to present the views of the Ahl al-Sunnah, to prioritize these opinions, and to prefer the view we found more transcendent in the same context. Brief explanations of some verses that are difficult to understand and prone to misinterpretation were quoted from the original copies of the tafsir works, included in the footnotes, and the source of each was indicated. The meanings of certain terms were summarized by benefiting from both tafsir and scholarly works. Likewise, brief explanations of abrogation (nasih and mansukh) verses, and some verses related to fiqh and muamalat (transactions) were quoted from sources as needed.
