In the essay titled "Kuşlarla Sohbetin Şartları," which gives the book its name, Ahmet Murat defines the world we live in as a "disenchanted world." The current state of those whose grandfathers were sheikhs, the forms of seclusion and new types of loneliness, a kind of tension felt on holy nights, the Muslim time...
