This is a work consisting of the sublime translation of the Magnificent Qur'an, prepared by a scholarly committee under the leadership of Mahmud Ustaosmanoğlu, the Renewer of the 15th Hijri century and retired Imam-Hatip of the Sheikh al-Islam İsmail Efendi (İsmailağa) Mosque. The most important feature of this work, unlike other translations, is that it includes tafsir (exegesis/explanations). For it is impossible not to fall into error or misunderstand when reading translations made without the necessary parenthetical explanations and footnotes. The fundamental reason for this is that the Holy Qur'an is miraculous and the Arabic language is a literary lexicon built upon ellipses and omissions. Indeed, the distinction and immense utility of this work are evident to those who examine it.
