This work, which is a summary of the book titled Gunyetü’l-Mütemellî by the Ottoman jurist Ibrahim al-Halabi (may Allah have mercy on him), has been translated word-for-word and as a whole, and prepared for publication by the Ismailağa Fiqh and Authorship Board. Author’s Introduction: All praise is due to Allah Almighty, who made worship the key to the mansion of happiness, the elevated place of the tree of grandeur, the station of noble high status, and the signpost to reaching abundance/Paradise and the Vision of Allah; and who made prayer the pillars that sustain worship, the peak of its heights, and the foundation of its rulings. Blessings and peace be upon our master Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), the most excellent of created beings, whose joy was placed in prayer, and upon his family and his companions who attained salvation from the silver and gold mine of religion. Then, Ibrahim b. Muhammad b. Ibrahim al-Halabi, who is in need of the mercy of his Generous Lord, says: “I had annotated the book 'Münyetü’l-Musallî' and named it 'Gunyetü’l-Mütemellî'. However, I saw in it some lengthy sections that would cause weariness for beginners and those with limited capacity. Therefore, I wished to shorten its pearl-like evidences and multiply its beneficial issues as a facility for students and a gift for those who are eager. Allah Almighty is the One whose help is sought in every request, the One who is alone in being free from imperfect attributes and qualified with perfect attributes. Just as the beginning is from Him, the return is only to Him. He is sufficient for me, and what an excellent guardian He is.
