Molla Abdulkâdir Sadreddîn Efendi states that he was inspired to prepare his work titled "ez-Zerî‘a ilâ ‘ilmi’ş-Şerî‘a" due to the lack of an easy-to-understand textbook on usul (legal theory) in Turkish. This work was originally written in Ottoman Turkish and consists of a total of five sections: an introduction, three main parts, and a conclusion. By addressing the subjects in 365 articles, Sadreddîn Efendi ensures a better understanding of the issues and makes it easy to find specific topics. While covering the subjects of fiqh methodology item by item and in table format, he explains the articles in the main sections through four-column tables divided into the categories of Mesâil-i Fen, Eimme ve Usûliyyîn, Delâil, and Fevâid.
