INTRODUCTION

The threats facing the Islamic Ummah today are not limited to external attacks; the real danger lies hidden in the corruption, erosion, and efforts to divert the faith from within its own structure. In this issue, we examine the three main dangers to Islam under the microscope: Modernism/Reformism, Shiism, and Takfiri Salafism.

The common point of these three tendencies, which seem distinct from one another, is that they produce new heresies that shatter the constructive integrity of revelation, break ties with tradition, and place human beings at the center. These deviations, which emerge sometimes by absolutizing reason, sometimes by establishing a different ontology centered on Imamate, and sometimes by drifting into a rigid literalism that reduces truth to a single dimension, are different faces that damage the spirit of Islam.

The purpose of this dossier is not to generate polemics; it is to address the issue at its roots, reveal its historical and intellectual background, and remind us once again of the possibilities of the correct path. Because the greatest need today is to hold fast once again to the path of Ahl al-Sunnah and to proceed in that direction without freezing or decaying.
