This treatise is a foundational work containing detailed explanations of the Quranic verses and reported noble hadiths concerning the noble Companions (Ashab-ı Kiram), the fundamental structure of the Ummah, conveying their virtues and providing information to guard against lies and slanders directed at them.
One of the matters regarding which it is incumbent upon Muslims to hold a firm belief is to say and believe nothing but good about the Companions. For the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Do not insult my Companions..."
It is the duty of Muslims to strive to show gratitude for the goodness they have received through the Companions and to pray for them with the invocation "radiyallahu anhüm" (may Allah be pleased with them), for they are the ones who advanced and led the way in the religion of Islam.
It is the noble Companions who were guides in following the Messenger of Allah and in teaching, publishing, and spreading the Sharia to the masses; they are the ones who transmitted the legal rulings from the Best of Mankind (peace and blessings be upon him) to us, and who strengthened and fortified the foundational principles and pillars of the religion of Islam with certain knowledge.
The hatred, enmity, disparagement, and cursing toward the noble Companions—which did not exist in the first century but were later built upon nonsensical talk, lies, slanders, and fabrications—have all been spread by sects with corrupt beliefs. It is incumbent upon Muslims to guard against such delusions.
The Risale on the noble Companions is the 5th work in the "Complete Works" series of Abdülhakim Arvasî-Üçışık, published by Büyük Doğu Yayınları, and is presented without simplification, along with its original copy written in the traditional script.
