Death is an inevitable reality that humanity has faced to this day and will continue to face hereafter. God has constantly reminded people of death in this world, shown the transience of the world, and sent His messengers and the Quran to explain the existence of an eternal afterlife and the necessity of preparing for it. People have been asked to organize their lives according to all these warnings and reminders. Thus, the moment of death is the beginning of a day when all these warnings will be accounted for. In this book, Imam Ghazali says, "Therefore, you must never forget the reality that death is a key to the gate of eternal life, and spend your worldly life without forgetting this truth. For this thought directs every person toward actions for which they can easily give an account in their eternal life. A person's salvation is attained only in accordance with the approval of God."
