Introduction

While preparing this issue, our priority was the Iran-Israel war, which has the potential to reshape the alliances and the map of the Middle East. The Al-Aqsa Flood on October 7 continues to deeply affect not only the region but the entire world order. On this occasion, we have addressed developments in the region from many angles: from frontline movements to diplomatic backstages, and from sectarian and ethnic fault lines to energy corridors.

However, the ugly caricature in Leman magazine targeting the Messenger of Allah and Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) disrupted the agenda. This is because this issue is not limited to a single magazine page. It is the reignition of a power struggle that has been going on in Anatolia for a century, and the course of this struggle will be decisive not only for Turkey but also for the future of the region.

Leman is a mouthpiece that fuels enmity toward Islam in this geography. It acts under the assumption that the immunity of the old order it hides behind still holds sway. But there is a truth they have forgotten: The true owner of these lands is the Muslim nation. And that nation has shown that it will no longer remain a spectator and that it will break the hand reaching out toward its sacred values.

That is why we changed our cover story. Because the Leman incident stands at the very heart of the mental and political transformation in Anatolia. In these lands, the days of the decadent order's reign are numbered.
